G & L Civil Contracting was engaged to supply, install and commission a new 1000KVA Chamber Substation for our client TQM Design and Construct at 7 Deane Street, Burwood for the construction of 154 apartments over 22 storeys, 3 ground retail spaces and 4 levels of basement parking.

The project involved trenching in roadway for the installation of conduits encased in TSB, the installation of a Low Voltage Pillar and perform HV and LV STJ’s. Earthing inside Chamber Substation including drilling 5.4m electrodes in the basement of the building and a light pole relocation.

Our team liaised with our client and Ausgrid to ensure the chamber room and all equipment met the exact standards required by Ausgrid for the project to be successfully completed in February 2021.
